IRRI, International Potato Center (CIP) and WorldFish held the Integrated System Testing of the One Corporate System (OCS) on 25 June-25 July 2012 at Harrar Hall, IRRI Headquarters. OCS key users from IRRI’s human resources, project management and finance units were given a special walk through on the basic functionalities of OCS. The series of testing was carried out by system builders with the assistance of consultants from UNIT 4. During the month-long test, system builders based at IRRI and led by Eric Clutario, ensured that their working time overlapped with those based in Asia and Peru (CIP headquarters).

Shortly following the system testing is another milestone on the OCS project. IRRI system builders and OCS key users in the next several weeks will be busy with OCS localization, user acceptance testing and end user training. The new software system, aimed to help IRRI staff improve efficiency and increase the collaboration among other CGIAR centers, will be implemented at the headquarters in a phased rollout beginning October 2012.
